About Brevard County Criminal History

Brevard County records are divided among the Sheriff, the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Florida Department of Corrections, and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry. This private reference site organizes the official portals, telephone numbers, addresses, and request routes so readers can identify the proper custodian.

Why We Built This Site

Florida provides broad access to many government records, but no single Brevard County office holds every part of a criminal history. The Sheriff handles jail and law-enforcement material. The Clerk maintains filed charges, dockets, and dispositions in BECA. FDLE operates the statewide criminal-history repository and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry, while the Florida Department of Corrections keeps state custody and supervision records. The site brings those distinct official routes into one reference.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: official details for the Sheriff, Clerk, and statewide Florida systems
  • Record guides: how criminal court cases are found and read in Brevard County
  • Record relief: the Florida process for expunction and sealing and where a petition is filed
  • Official checks: the difference between FDLE name searches, fingerprint checks, and personal review

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Florida court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its limits are important:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the issuing office, such as the Sheriff, Clerk, or FDLE, can provide an official record. This site identifies the route but cannot issue the document.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
